AutoTrader.com, the world's largest automotive marketplace, today announced the appointment of John McCormick to Regional Vice President - East. In one of two newly created positions, McCormick will oversee all aspects of sales, service, revenue and expense for the eastern half of the U.S. McCormick will report directly to Hal Greene, vice president of dealer sales.

McCormick was one of the first employees hired when AutoTrader.com started out in 1999. He brought 9 years of sales experience with Enterprise Leasing Company when he became the web company's first National Sales Training Manager. In 2000, McCormick was promoted to Regional Director of the Northeast and helped build AutoTrader.com's industry-leading sales force. McCormick is a seasoned sales professional, whose most recent position was Coordinating Director of the East.
